Adani Green Energy has commissioned a 2.14 GW solar-wind hybrid project in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, India. The 11,500-acre project has 5.8 million solar modules with a capacity of 535 Wp each.
Approximately 40% of the project's total installed PV capacity consists of fixed-tilt module mounting structures. In addition, the project includes 353 wind turbines.
Adani Green Energy's future plans include the development of a 15 GW hybrid solar-wind project in Khavda, Gujarat. Spread over 70,500 acres, this upcoming hybrid project will feature 33.6 million photovoltaic (PV) modules, each of which will be sized at more than 570 Wp.The facility will include trackers with robotic cleaning technology and 375 wind turbines.
