Difference between solar panels and regular batteries?
Solar panels, sometimes called photovoltaic cells, collect the sun's energy in the form of sunlight and convert it into electricity. A single solar cell cannot be used directly as a power source. To be used as a power source, a number of individual solar cells must be connected in series or parallel and tightly encapsulated to form a solar panel, which can be used to power a home or business.

These panels can be used to supplement building power or to provide power in remote areas.

Solar panel structure is mainly surface material (PET/ETFE/Glass) + EVA + solar cell sheet + EVA + back material (PET, TPT, PCB), generally the surface material is hard, the back material is soft. The surface material generally has the requirement of high transmittance, can project sunlight into the solar inside the cell inside, let the sunlight in the semiconductor p-n junction, the formation of new hole - electron pairs, in the p-n junction under the action of the electric field, the hole from the p area flows to the n area, the electron from the n area flows to the p area, connected to the circuit, the formation of electric current, which is the photovoltaic effect of the solar panel principle of operation. The backside material generally protects the backside of the solar cell sheet inside.

Traditionally, there are many kinds of batteries, mainly lithium batteries, alkaline batteries, zinc carbon batteries, silver oxide batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, 12V batteries, 22V batteries, according to the different substances inside them, their names as well as their performance will vary. In a narrow sense, the battery is a device that converts its own stored chemical energy into electrical energy; in a broader sense, the battery is a device that converts "pre-stored" energy into electrical energy that can be used externally. Solar panels, on the other hand, can only generate electricity in sunlight; if it is cloudy or rainy, they cannot generate or store electricity.
